Do I need to take time off to be there?
Buying a house can put demands on your time, but your inspection won’t be one of them. I’ll schedule my access to the property and deliver your report electronically. I’ll also provide a link that you can use to pay online at your convenience.
Can I come by and walk through the house with you?
Absolutely. I’m happy to reserve some time with you at the end of the inspection to review observations and answer any questions you may have.
Can my agent stop by too?
Of course. Agents are encouraged to get involved so they can be well informed if you choose to ask the seller for repairs or concessions.
What should I be looking for?
My reports contain detailed information about each area of inspection, along with photos and descriptions for relevant issues and observations. I also include a helpful summary right at the beginning so you can focus on what’s important.
Do I need a Radon Test?
According to the EPA, radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer. Most Colorado homes have a high potential for elevated radon levels, and the EPA recommends that you know the radon levels in any home you consider buying. Radon testing is always recommended to determine whether mitigation is needed or to verify that an existing mitigation system is operating properly.
